Obstetrics

The obstetrics fellowship combines a half-time practice in a community health center system that delivers more than 1,400 babies a year. The rest of your time is spent working with the obstetrical house staff services at LDS, IMC, and University Hospitals. Our fellowship graduates have the skills and experience to apply for cesarean and operative deliveries in most hospital systems. They obtain extensive training in routine and high-risk pregnancies and deliveries.

Sports Medicine

The sports medicine fellow works with sports medicine physicians in three settings: the Madsen Health Center, the University of Utah Orthopedic Center, and the Center for Orthopedic Rehabilitation Excellence at Park City Ski Clinic. Our fellow, working directly with our faculty, experiences all types of athletes, sports injuries, and associated management modalities. Our fellow has extensive contact with the University of Utah athletic teams and the USA winter sports teams. In addition, our fellow serves in a teaching role within the family medicine residency.
