Tatiana Allen-Webb

Tatiana Allen-Webb, BS, CCRP, is the Programs Manager for the Utah Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) program. She coordinates the design, development, and delivery of statewide initiatives, including program assessment and improvement, and oversees the AHEC Scholars. Additionally, Tatiana manages the Community Health Worker Team embedded into the School of Medicine curriculum. Tatiana has 23 years of experience at the University of Utah.

Justine Baughan

Justine is an Administrative Manager for the Division of Public Health. She provides administrative support to the Division Chief as well as faculty and staff. Her responsibilities include calendaring, accounts payable, supply orders, minutes, arranging travel and events such as student graduation, and also works with AHEC and CHW. Justine is from St. Anthony, Idaho, and earned her Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University Idaho in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations. Justine enjoys traveling, playing board games, and exploring the great outdoors!

Esther Chun-Pin Chang

Esther is an Adjunct Assistant Professor and a research scientist for the Division of Public Health, undertaking self-directed research to address critical public health issues. With an expertise in epidemiology, Esther writes research grants and manuscripts. She mentors undergraduate and graduate students, providing guidance and support to them as part of the Hashibe research team. In her leisure time, Esther indulges in her love for outdoor activities. An avid skier, she relishes the thrill of gliding down snow-covered slopes and also finds tranquility in stand-up paddle-boarding (SUP), exploring serene waterways and enjoying the beauty of nature. Esther’s commitment to advancing public health makes a positive impact on the field and the well-being of communities.

Jacklyn Chiu

Jacklyn is a Graduate Student Coordinator for students in the MSTAT & MSPH programs offered in the Division of Public Health programs in the Department of Family and Preventive medicine. She coordinates various aspects of educational programs including recruiting, admissions, advising, and graduation. Jacklyn earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Utah.

Skyler Crouch

Skyler is a health equity epidemiologist for the Division of Public Health, providing data and evaluation technical assistance to Utah’s local health departments and the Department of Health and Human Services as well as supporting health equity research at the Division of Public Health. He has a B.S. in Nutritional Science from Brigham Young University and an MPH and graduate certificate in Emergency Health from the University of Utah. Skyler has served on the board of the Utah Public Health Association since 2020 and is an LGBTQ+ subject matter expert for the Rocky Mountain Public Health Training Center. He is an avid gardener and amateur botanist and advocates for xeriscaping and incorporating native Utah plants into landscapes.

Courtney DeMond

Courtney is an Associate Director of Graduate Education for the Division of Public Health and Occupational Environmental Health. She is responsible for the administration and management of all Public Health and Occupational Environmental Health program operations including education, budgeting, financial operations, development, communication, and human resources. Courtney earned her MBA from Concordia University Chicago. She has several years of experience in management, leadership, administrative duties, academic advising, public relations and event coordinating.

Maria Gomez

Maria (Maisa) is the Administrative Manager for the Utah Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) Program. She is an administrative leader with more than twenty years of experience in implementation and management of health organizations, social programs and private companies. She has successfully managed private business, and effectively worked in socially driven organizations and in academic institutions. Maisa is passionate about creating equitable opportunities for disadvantage individuals in education and health.

Abby is a Recruiter and Coordinator in the Division of Public Health. Her responsibilities include coordinating different aspects of the program, including recruiting, personal outreach, marketing strategies, and public relations. Abby is from University Place, Washington, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Communications from Utah Valley University. She enjoys running, playing board games, and reading self-improvement books.

Pamela Lyon

Pamela is the Human Resources Manager for the Divisions of Public Health and Occupational & Environmental Health. Her responsibilities include payroll and overseeing employee onboarding and offboarding, including tracking new hires, drafting offer letters, and initiating background checks and I-9s. She also manages staff training, submitting additional compensations, payroll reallocations, invoices, vacation & time-off accruals, as well as managing Public Health’s UMarket online payment account.

Sylvia Lyons

Sylvia Lyons is an Administrative Assistant for the Division of Public Health. Her tasks are diverse, providing administrative support to faculty and staff by managing calendars & room scheduling; purchasing & reimbursement; time off accruals; building maps, access, & keys; travel arranging; faculty CV edits & updates; and other project support as needed. Sylvia earned her BA in General Professional Dance at BYU and has taught ballroom and coached formation teams. She raised a large family, homeschooling for 12 years while also moving 12 times, living in Utah, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and California.

Prudi Marneedi, BDS, MPH, CPH is the Evaluation and Education Lead for the Utah AHEC program. He will be evaluating the AHEC programs and lead several educational activities administered by Utah AHEC. Prudvi is an alumni of University of Utah and is interested in public health research and community health. He envisions a just and equitable society.

Josué Martinez

Josué Martinez is an Academic Advisor to the students in the Masters of Public Health (MPH) and Occupational and Enviromental Health (OEH) Degree programs offered through the Department of Family and Preventative Medicine. Josué coordinates all aspects of student education programs including recruiting, admissions, advising, and graduation. He earned his BA in Political Science with a Minor in Spanish from the University of Utah.

Yen Lieng Moore is an Administrative Program Coordinator for the Division of Public Health. She provides administrative support to faculty and staff, including purchasing, reimbursement, departmental deposits, and assisting with travel when needed. She has been with University of Utah for over 4 years in the Department of Psychiatry. She has earned a BA in Business Management, as well as a Minor in Marketing from Oklahoma State University. She enjoys traveling and hiking with her husband.

Dallas Nelson is an Education Manager for the Division of Public Health and Occupational & Environmental Health. He coordinates all aspects of student education programs including recruiting, admissions, advising, and graduation. Dallas earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Utah and his Master of Public Administration from Southern Utah University. He has several years of experience in higher education, management, academic advising, and event coordination.

Chris Sparks

Chris Sparks is a Clinical Research Coordinator for the Division of Public Health. He manages and coordinates activities for Dr. Baron’s Behavioral Sleep Medicine lab including data collection, analysis, and participant recruitment. He also works PRN in the Utah University Medical Centers Emergency Room as an EMT. He has a great interest in the intersection of behavioral and mental health and their impact on personal and community health at large. Chris earned his MPH with a Certificate in Global health and BS in Sociology from the University of Utah.

Marissa Taddie

Marissa Taddie, MPH, MS, is a GIS Analyst for the Division of Public Health. She uses Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to create, summarize, and manage geospatial data. Additionally, she uses spatial and geostatistical methods to analyze, visualize, and present findings from various health outcome studies. Her hobbies include competing with her Australian Shepherd, Rye, and adventuring in the mountains and desert with her husband and other dogs.

Kamaile Tripp-Harris

Kamaile Tripp-Harris is Health Equity Consultant for the Division of Public Health, aiding Health Equity Teams statewide in addressing health disparities in underrepresented and underserved communities. Kamaile is a certified Community Health Worker, facilitating Community Health Talks and Cultural Presentations for medical students. Kamaile earned an Associates degree in Accounting. She is a former Hawaiian Heritage Teacher at Pacific Heritage Academy in Rose Park, UT., has worked in Mental & Behavioral Healthcare for 18 years, and is producer and co-host of the Island Wave Podcast, whose mission is to collect Pacific Island Experiences of Utah and build a bridge to the broader community.
