Jared is responsible for fostering communication between the PA Program and affiliated clinical sites. He manages clinical rotation sites, maintains preceptor information, EOR exams, return visits, Friday clinics, course registration, and ensures student credentialing requirements are met. In addition, Jared assists with various clinical events and pitches in wherever he can. Jared graduated from Brigham Young University Idaho with a degree in public health and an emphasis in health science.

Tatiana Allen-Webb, BS, CCRP, is the Program Manager for the Utah Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) program. She coordinates the design, development, and delivery of statewide initiatives, including program assessment and improvement, and oversees the AHEC Scholars. Additionally she handles IRB regulatory affairs ensuring Good Clinical Practices and SOP compliance for the department’s research studies. Tatiana has 19 years of experience at the University of Utah, she is currently working on her MBA and is a Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP).

Lorain is a Senior Academic Advisor for the Division of Public Health and advises graduate students within the Public Health and Occupational and Environmental Health degree programs. She works with students on day-to-day advising activities and assists the division with educational event planning and programs, admissions processes, and organizational communication. Before arriving at the U, Lorain held advising and admissions roles in Chicago, IL. and Hohenfels, Germany, and brings eight years of higher education experience. Lorain has worked with many student populations, such as Latinx students and military service members, and is passionate about students' success and their accessibility to opportunities. Lorain received her BA in Psychology and Multimedia Journalism from her hometown school, the University of Texas at El Paso, and her MS in Higher Education Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.

She assists and supports all faculty and staff with any scheduling needs and day to day tasks. Marianne comes to us from the clinical side, working as a Dialysis Technician for the past 8 years. She loves to read, bake and enjoys the chaos of her family life, including her husband, 6 children and their spouses, 2 border collies, an African Grey Parrot, a Bearded Dragon and 2 cats.

In addition to his University of Utah management and leadership experience, he is bringing his 5 years of experience as a former active duty Marine. Andrew has an extensive background in finance and accounting, operations management, and basic and clinical research.

Kitzia graduated with a degree in Business Administration and Economics from Jönköping International Business School.

She also oversees the Family Medicine Interest Group (FMIG). Ashley has a bachelor’s in Human Development and Family Studies from the U and has been working in healthcare for the past 15 years. Ashley enjoys hiking, skiing and going on adventures with her two rescue dogs, Hudson and Walker.

She has served the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA) as a member of the CASPA Advisory Committee, Chair of the CASPA Enhancements Committee, the Recruitment and Admissions Council, and the Diversity and Inclusion Mission Advancement Council. Doris received the PAEA Staff Excellence Award in 2018.

Emilee manages the research team at the Rocky Mountain Center. She aids in compiling evidence-based practice guidelines for the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM), training of new hires, assisting with writing scientific manuscripts and grants, and oversees project management. She also is the program coordinator for the Targeted Research Training program. She helps with program data collection and tracking, revising TRT curriculum, and acts as a liaison between the program director and PhD and post-doctoral program students. Emilee earned her Master’s degree in public health from the University of Utah in August of 2017.

Rob’s primary roles include oversight of the financial health of the department, department funds flow, facilitating financial strategy, and compensation plans.

Mandy loves to write YA Speculative Fiction and is slowly working on an English MFA in Creative Writing. She also enjoys playing the piano, singing, playing the flute, hiking and biking with her family, and travelling the world. Mandy is from Tucson, Arizona. She graduated with a BA in Psychology from the University of Arizona and even though she loves the mountains and the change of seasons in Utah, an Arizona sunset will always take her breath away.

While in Las Vegas, Rosie worked in Hospice care for 6 years coordinating a volunteer team and providing resources for our end of life patients, with the privilege of helping two very dear friends at the end of life amongst numerous patients and families. Rosie also worked with the Occupational Medicine department coordinating patient care, day to day clinical work and adjusting process for testing, billing, and scheduling patient care. She now supports the Division of Occupational and Environmental Health in streamlining processes and building the division to further grow client and patient needs.

As a public health professional with a clinical background, Shahpar is interested in improved outcomes for sexual and reproductive health. Her overarching research goal is to implement and promote evidence-based policies that decrease infant/maternal mortality, prevent diseases, increase access to reproductive health services. Shahpar also engages in research that helps women and couples advocate for autonomy in making sound reproductive health/family planning decisions. Currently, she is working on a project that evaluates the menstrual cycle characteristics of women without any known subfertility, women with endometriosis, and women with polycystic ovary syndrome.

Besides working for the DFPM, he is also working on a series of guidebooks for the Wasatch Mountains area.

Cayla serves as the coordinator for faculty recruitment and onboarding and coordinates events for the residency program.
