How to Apply

To apply, send the following to Dan DeFilippo (dan.defilippo@hsc.utah.edu):

1. Letter of Intent/Personal Statement
2. CV
3. Three Letters of Recommendation

We participate in the NRMP match process and accept applications from physicians that are residency-trained in emergency medicine that will be EM Board-eligible or Board-certified by the start of the fellowship.

We begin to accept applications on July 1 for the following year. Top applicants will be invited to interview with us in the fall and a match rank list will be finalized by early November with the fellowship match usually occurring in late November. Interviews will be sent out between August and September. 

*During the upcoming application cycle (2026), we will conduct interviews virtually.
