Emergency Medicine Students

The Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Utah offers several courses for medical students

Coming in the 2025-2026 academic year, the Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine and Department of Emergency Medicine will offer a limited number of spots for visiting students to enroll in our core sub-internship rotation. Please visit https://medicine.utah.edu/emergency-medicine/medical-students/sub-internship to learn more information about this MS4 only 4-week rotation. Please apply using VSLO after April 15th, 2025 at 12:00pm MST. 

Note: visiting students may apply for rotations using the Visiting Students Learning Opportunities (VSLO) application. Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to enroll international students or students who do not have access to VSLO.

Shadowing in the Emergency Department

Shadowing is restricted to current University of Utah medical students only. If you are a current MS1-MS4 please contact Ella Musuris @ ella.musuris@hsc.utah.edu.
