All eight Adult Neurology Residency positions include a preliminary year in internal medicine at the University of Utah. Members of the resident recruitment committee review all applications. Virtual interviews begin in October and conclude in January. Interview days are Wednesday and Friday.

Application Review / Interview Process

The University of Utah is committed to a fair and holistic application review. Our selection committee comprises a group of dedicated faculty who undergo yearly training to make sure all applicants are evaluated fairly. The entire selection process is geared towards gaining a 360 degree view of our applicants but also to offer as much information as possible to our prospective residents. The interview day consists of a full day of interviewing and a pre-interview virtual “dinner” with our residents the night prior to your interview day. We encourage you to ask us your important questions as we are committed to providing you with the meaningful information you need to make the best decision for your future training.
