Our Mission
To educate school officials and community members to prevent and manage school-related anaphylaxis, ensuring every child in school has access to life-saving epinephrine.
Project Goals
We have several goals to prevent anaphylaxis. Our goals are to:
- Help schools identify children at risk for anaphylaxis due to food allergy,
- Develop a Food Allergy Action Plan for each identified child in conjunction with parents, school nurses, and physicians,
- Train individuals where a school nurse is not physically present to know when and how to administer epinephrine, and
- Ensure that each school has access to life-saving epinephrine.
