I was born and raised in the mountains of Quito, Ecuador. My passion in the medical field took me in a long journey that landed me in the mountains of the great state of Utah.
I signed up to be there for children not only in their best days but also to look after them in their worst days. My interest in medical education and global health continued to grow throughout the years and I found University of Utah to be a perfect fit for me to grow my clinical skills, acquire the medical knowledge and support my interests in learning and then share my knowledge as well as in Global medicine initiatives. I have always believed that knowledge of medical sciences is for sharing and not for competing against each other.
WHY UTAH?
The spectacular views in Utah national parks are one of many perks for a nature fascinated person like me, and I feel lucky and privileged to live and work in a world ranked vacation destination!
