About Me
Residency: University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI
Dr. Tomlin is from Kohler, Wisconsin. He attended medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed his pediatric residency and Chief Resident year at the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He and his partner, Jisun, decided to venture out west to Salt Lake City for fellowship training. The amazing educational and mentorships drew him to the University of Utah, and the amazing support and camaraderie of the faculty have been his favorite things about the fellowship since arriving.
His research interests are in medical device development for limited resource settings. Currently, he is working with his mentor, Allie Judkins, and an engineering team from Kathmandu, Nepal, in the development of a low-cost infant radiant warmer. This is part of his Master’s in Clinical Investigation with a focus on Global Health Innovation Technology program. When not working, he and his partner enjoy hiking, skiing and rock climbing.
