  • About Me

    Why Utah Pediatric HemOnc?

I immediately felt at home talking with the faculty and fellows. The hospital has a very wide catchment area with great diversity and high volume of cancer diagnoses every year.

What's your favorite part about living in Salt Lake City?

I love having easy access to hiking, camping, skiing, and other outdoor activities. There are so many great options to get outdoors in all seasons within 30 minutes of the city in any direction.

What cool research/advocacy/education/scholarly work are you participating in?

My research project is health-equity focused looking retrospectively at access to fertility preservation across different sociodemographic groups for adolescent and young adult patients within our multi-state catchment area.

What are your plans following fellowship?

AYA oncology clinical position with research focus on health equity/disparities within the fields of survivorship, fertility preservation, and palliative care.
