Why Utah?
I decided to come to SLC for fellowship because of the large population of patients served with various backgrounds. Utah has one of the largest "catch" areas for a children's hospital, further expanding the scope of patient care. During my virtual interview I felt there was a supportive environment from the faculty to fellows and among the fellows itself. Everyone seemed passionate, happy and friendly, which was reassuring, since this is the setting, I was hoping to be in for the next three years.
My husband has also convinced me that the mountain west is the most beautiful part of the country.
