About Me
Hey all, I’m Libby! I’m very, very excited to be here in at Primary Children’s for my fellowship training. I chose Utah because I was looking for a larger center with great multidisciplinary support without compromising fellow autonomy. I felt very passionate about the academic benefits of being at a large center, but have always felt strongly that my fellow trainees, ICU staff, and faculty should feel like my extended family, and that was exactly how I felt on interview day. The positivity, culture of safety and support for not just trainees, but all of healthcare here at PCH has been such a welcoming culture and has made my transition as comfortable as it can be. Of course, I have to mention how awesome the work-life-balance is here, it’s a huge plus to living in SLC, and especially during fellowship when you find yourself with more time away from the hospital than residency. We have all of the benefits of living in the city, short commutes, AND endless outdoor activities, it truly is the best!
