About Me
I was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, attending medical school at Creighton University, then completing pediatric residency training at University of Nebraska Medical Center/ Children’s Nebraska. My current research is centered on neutrophil extracellular trap formation particularly in PMN-MDSCs. My current research mentor is Dr. Con Yost. I chose the University of Utah for neonatology training because of the supportive faculty with a variety of clinical interests, the wide variety of clinical exposure, and its proximity to outdoor activities. In my free time, I enjoy hiking with my husband, running, reading, and listening to podcasts.
