About Me
My previous clinical pediatrics experiences were mainly in peripheral hospitals where complex cases were quickly transitioned to larger centers. I chose Utah because I knew I would be exposed to as much as possible, the place where the complex cases are sent - not where they depart. As a Canadian that went to Ireland for medical school I am used to being away from home. The sense of family was readily apparent at PCH and is one of the other main reasons I was excited to join the team in Salt Lake City. I have also always been an avid trail runner and the ability to nip into the mountains within minutes is surreal - not to mention the many great spots for a post-run coffee (plenty of awesome local roasters!).
