  • About Me

About Me: I grew up in Tokyo, Taipei, and Zurich before moving to and finishing high school in Idaho. I attended Bowdoin College, University of Michigan Medical School and completed my pediatrics residency at Children's National Hospital in Washington D.C. AFter graduating from residency, I happily moved back to the intermountain west and practiced as a general/rural pediatrician in Idaho with Full Circle Health and helped develop a new pediatrics residency program at the Pediatric Residency of Idaho

Medical Areas of Interest: Complex congenital heart disease/Single Ventricle; Developmental biology, genetics, and fetal medicine; Remote monitoring; Access to healthcare; Medical education

Interests/Hobbies: Cycling, backcountry skiing, climbing, cooking

Why Utah: I was interested in training at a high-volume surgical center with varied complex congenital heart disease that cares for patients over a large geographic catchment. I wanted a program that had opportunities to care for patients living in rural and under-resourced areas. Being from Idaho and planning to return to practice in the future, it was important to me to train within the Intermountain West.
