About Me
When looking at where to apply for residency, I knew I wanted a change of scenery after living in Florida most of my life, and to work at a stand-alone children’s hospital. Salt Lake and UofU/PCH offered both and I’m so happy to be here. The sincerity of the faculty and residents stood out on my interview day and I felt like I would be both challenged and supported here (the mountains sold themselves!). I think this program attracts those who want to work hard and play hard, and they do a great job of creating a welcoming, familial atmosphere. I’m most interested in pursuing hospitalist or emergency medicine, but have an open mind. So far the hiking trails have been amazing and I’m even more excited for ski season!
