I realized very early in medical school that I wanted a career in pediatrics and medical education. After that, it didn't take long to realize that staying at the University of Utah would provide a singular opportunity to not only learn from amazing pediatrics educators but also participate in a novel longitudinal approach to advancement in medical training*. In every aspect of medical education at the University of Utah, you find pediatricians leading the way in applying adult learning theory, asynchronous methodologies and backward design.
