About Me
I was first drawn to Utah because of the amazing people I met on my interview day. Everyone emphasized how much like a family the program felt, and I knew that I would need that added support if I was going to leave my family behind in Texas! I was also looking for a program that would prepare me for a career in rural medicine, and with an emphasis on both primary and specialty care, Utah will do just that. All of this coupled with the close proximity to the mountains made Utah the perfect place for me!
