About Me
I am still so grateful I chose University of Utah Pediatrics because of the supportive, fun community here combined with fantastic pediatric training. My co-residents are incredibly kind and hardworking, and the faculty is supportive of us every step of the way. We are given autonomy, but have seniors and attendings that are always willing to help when we ask. Additionally, we see a wide range of diagnoses and acuity, since we serve many states in the Intermountain West. My continuity clinic primarily consists of Spanish-speaking patients, which has allowed me to continue my training in medical Spanish. Utah is incredibly beautiful, too, which makes my time out of the hospital so fun. I have loved getting to explore this part of the country, and I feel lucky to train at such a fantastic program.
