About Me
When I interviewed at the University of Utah the dedication to excellence in medicine was readily apparent, but what I believe ultimately drew me to Utah was that peoples’ passions didn’t stop at medicine. I could see and have come to see further still that those at the University of Utah relish what they do outside of medicine, whether that be hiking, skiing, biking reading, writing etc. And these passions, instead of detracting from their role as physicians, enrich and provide buoyancy to their vocation. As a native of Western North Carolina and a lover of the outdoors, I look forward to sharing in some part the passions people share for the outdoors while at the same time training to become a caring and competent physician.
