Benjamin A. Steinberg, MD, MHS, FACP, FACC, FHRS

Dr. Steinberg is an Associate Professor of Medicine, in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, Section of Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.

He specializes in the diagnosis and management of heart rhythm disorders, ranging from the abnormally slow (bradyarrhythmias) to irregular and fast arrhythmias (tachyarrhythmias). In addition to seeing patients in the outpatient clinic and in inpatient setting, Dr. Steinberg performs a range of procedures for heart rhythm management, including implantation of loop recorders, pacemakers, and defibrillators (including subcutaneous defibrillators) and catheter-based ablation procedures for SVT (supraventricular tachycardia), WPW (Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome), atrial flutter, atrial fibrillation, PVCs (premature ventricular contractions), and VT (ventricular tachycardia). Dr. Steinberg is also one of only a handful of Utah physicians implanting the latest-generation, leadless pacemaker.
