Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the U.S. and worldwide. A very significant component in successful treatment of heart disease is accurate detection and characterization. With ongoing developments in imaging technology, we seek to develop more and more detailed pictures of cardiac structure, function, and physiology that translate into improved clinical treatments. We have a particular interest in heart failure, coronary artery disease, and atrial fibrillation.

Please explore our projects - we are looking for motivated graduate students in these areas.
