Telling Our Stories Beyond the Coat & Badge
In surgery, we focus on skill and precision, but behind every surgeon, APC, tech, and staff member is a person with passions that shape how we care for others. Humanizing our team builds trust with patients, strengthens communication, and fosters a workplace where we support each other. When patients see us as real people, they feel more comfortable and engaged in their care. When our teams connect on a deeper level, we collaborate better and create a stronger, more resilient environment.
The "Beyond" series showcases the incredible people who make our Department of Surgery run. Here we highlight not just what we do in the hospital, clinic, or office, but the unique passions we pursue outside of work that drive our dedication to patient care. This isn’t just about storytelling, it’s about growing our institution, showcasing our expertise, and celebrating the people who make us great.
