Dr. Reitz graduated from University of Utah with a M.S. in Audiology in 1982 and an AuD. in 2009. She was a Clinical Audiologist at a multispeciality clinic from 1982 through 2001 providing ABR and facial nerve monitoring in the O.R., ECoG, ENoG, ENG, ABR, hearing aid dispensing, and diagnostic hearing and middle ear testing. Since 2002, she has been the audiologist for Salt Lake City School District. As an Educational Audiologist, Dr. Reitz provides amplification support, teacher education, child find hearing screening, diagnostic hearing and middle ear testing for children aged 2 ½ to 19 years of age with an emphasis on students with special needs, Auditory Processing evaluation, referral and coordination with physicians. Dr. Reitz is grateful to the physicians that serve her students and finds that working as a team with the medical community ensures the best health outcome and ultimately the best educational outcome.
Martina Costello, SLP
Martina has worked at Primary Children's for the last 20 years. She has worked in Outpatient and inpatient setting specializing in a variety of areas including feeding, hypernasality, articulation and language therapy. She has worked with the ENT doctor's for the past 2 years in the VPI/FEES clinic assisting with assessing hyernasality in speech as well as feeding modification strategies. When she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her family, skiing, hiking and travelling.
