What's next for Dr. Hyngstrom?
A MESSAGE FROM DR. HYNGSTROM
I recently accepted a faculty position at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL this fall. I am working as a surgical oncologist treating melanoma and sarcoma patients and was recruited to lead their melanoma trial efforts and research program within their cancer center and their recent affiliation with MD Anderson. I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and received my medical school and surgical training in the city. I am excited for the new opportunities that await me. I am grateful for the opportunities and growth in my time at the University of Utah over the past 12 years, especially working with my practice partners, support staff, and surgical residents who I will miss! I hope to continue trial collaborations in the future with my colleagues at HCI.
