The Division of Vascular Surgery at University of Utah Health is committed to providing exceptional patient care, education, and clinical research to continue shaping the future of vascular surgery.
The clinical team consists of highly trained physicians and advanced practice clinicians offering comprehensive care for a range of vascular conditions, focused on evidence-based medicine and cutting-edge procedures. The clinical care provided encompasses treatment for various vascular and circulatory problems, including aneurysms, arterial blockages, varicose veins, deep vein thrombosis, chronic venous insufficiency, and dialysis difficulties.
The division also takes pride in training the next generation of vascular surgeons through our education program. Our ACGME-accredited two-year independent fellowship educates top vascular surgery fellows with a focus on providing premier patient care. The division's educational mission aims to equip vascular surgeons with the most up-to-date tests and treatments, ensuring patients receive care from providers dedicated to their health.
Additionally, the division conducts innovative and groundbreaking clinical research supported by numerous grants, including awards from the National Institute of Health, Veterans Health Administration, research foundations, and industry sponsors. We are committed to translating research finding into ways to better care for our patients.
