Fares Qeadan, PhD was informed this past week that his sub-award with Indian Health Services (IHS) has been renewed. The sub-award is granted through the Albuquerque Area Southwest Tribal Epidemiology Center (AASTEC), which serves American Indian communities in New Mexico, Southern Colorado, West Texas, and Southeastern Utah. “Working with AASTEC and its director Dr. Kevin English is one of the best research experiences I have ever had,” says Dr. Qeadan. "I highly encourage students to explore tribal health as an area of their own research.”
