Last week, the Academy of Health Sciences Educators' (AHSE) Advancing Excellence in Education Committee informed a Surgical Care Team which includes UPAP assistant professor Amanda Moloney-Johns, MPAS, PA-C that they have won the 2021 Interprofessional Education Team Award. "We were very impressed by your educational accomplishments and are excited to see how your team progresses," reads the announcement letter from the committee. "Your involvement in creating a culture of exceptional education in the University of Utah Health community is well deserved of recognition." Moloney-Johns, along with her Surgical Care Team, will be recognized as recipients of the award in the AHSE Virtual Induction Ceremony, which will take place in early April.
