A recent University of Utah Twitter post about Public Health's Exploring South Korea: Society, Development and Health learning abroad program has gathered some local celebrity interest.
Pat Bagley, the U.S.'s longest-running published political cartoonist and Salt Lake Tribune contributor, noticed the tweet about the learning abroad program and retweeted it, adding "What an AMAZING opportunity! South Koreans are wonderful and the country is beautiful."
Public Health's South Korea program is one of very few running during the COVID-19 crisis, and as such represents a unique and memorable opportunity for students looking to round out their studies abroad. For more information, visit Public Health's learning abroad webpage.
As an added bonus, the Learning Abroad Office has waived the late fee for 2021, so students are encouraged to sign up fee-free before the new deadline of February 28.
