UPAP Hosts Virtual White Coat Ceremony

On February 11, 2021, the Utah Physician Assistant Program (UPAP) hosted a White Coat Ceremony for Class 51. The White Coat Ceremony is a yearly rite of passage for new physician assistants, symbolizing the beginning of their clinical experience. PAs receive a U Health-branded white coat before they start the clinical rotation portion of their studies.

This year's ceremony, which was held virtually in response to COVID-19 restrictions, was keynoted by José E. Rodriguez, MD, and Jennifer Coombs, PA-C, PhD led the students in the Physician Assistant's Oath.
