UPAP Students and Faculty Provide Vaccinations to Members of the Ute Tribe

On Tuesday Feb 2, 2021 students from Class 50 participated in a Covid-19 vaccine roll-out for the Ute Tribe on the Uintah and Ouray reservation at the Fort Duchesne Indian Health Center community center.

The students carefully drew up the doses. With a good eye and careful technique 12 doses can be drawn up out of the standard 10 doses in the vials of precious vaccine.

PA students participating were Josh Roesser, Jenny Prettyman, Tanner Winger, Takara Ragland and Clayton Kline. Faculty were Grant Sunada, PhD, and Jennifer Coombs, PA-C, PhD.
