Dr. Charles Rogers Appointed Associate Professor of Epidemiology & Social Science at the Medical College of Wisconsin

Charles R. Rogers, PhD, MPH, MS, MCHES© has accepted a position as Associate Professor of Epidemiology & Social Science in the Institute for Health and Equity at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) located in Milwaukee. In addition to this position, he has been selected to serve as the inaugural Associate Director of Community Outreach & Engagement in the MCW Cancer Center and as the MCW Cancer Center Research Scholar Endowed Chair.

Public Health Division Chief Steven Lacey, PhD, CIH, CSP, FAIHA said this in an email to Public Health regarding Dr. Rogers’s departure: “My happiness for Charles sits right beside a deep sense of loss. He will be missed. Charles is a highly visible and celebrated scholar – a focused investigator, an impactful mentor, and a foundation leader. He is a true public scholar, and I’ve admired his laser focus on eliminating colorectal cancer. He will be missed here, but I can’t wait to see what he accomplishes in Milwaukee.”

Dr. Rogers’s last day with the department will be Friday, May 20, 2022.
