Dr. Andy Draper, PharmD and UPAP program faculty presented his poster to faculty and students at the recent Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA) Education Forum in San Diego. This poster describes a wilderness medicine-themed orientation activity for newly matriculated PA students that provides opportunities for interaction outside of the classroom, establishment of group dynamics, and engagement with faculty and staff. Kelsey Genovesse, PA-C, MPAS, Utah PA faculty, and Laura Zdziarski-Horodyski, PhD, who is also a Utah PA student stand in the foreground. Both Kelsey and Laura were attending their first PAEA forums.
