Jessica Jones Named Chair of Resiliency & Belonging Committee

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Jessica Jones, MD, MSPH as the Resiliency and Belonging Committee Chair for the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine (DFPM).

The Resiliency and Belonging Committee will develop and implement supportive programming to enhance employee well-being. Under the stewardship of Dr. Jones, the committee will work to promote a culture that champions collegiality, collaboration, and belonging within the department. She will report on progress, programs, and challenges to John Barrett, MD, Interim Chair of DFPM.

For over three years, Dr. Jones served as an Associate Chair for the Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion at DFPM and worked closely with the Wellness Committee to evaluate, assess, and implement changes to improve employee satisfaction, reduce burnout, and empower employees. She has also served as a Wellness Champion for the Community Physician Group (CPG) for the last two years.

In addition to her new role, Dr. Jones serves as an Associate Professor in the Division of Public Health and an Attending Physician for CPG.
