Family Medicine Residency Class of 2024 Graduates

The Division of Family Medicine hosted the Class of 2024 Residency and Fellowship Graduation on June 21, 2024, at the Cleone Peterson Eccles Alumni House.

Faculty and staff gathered to celebrate alongside the graduates and their supporters. The event honored those who completed the Family Medicine Residency program, and fellowships in Obstetrics, Pharmacy, and Sports Medicine.

The Chief of the Division of Family Medicine Bernadette Kiraly, MD, shared her pride and excitement for the graduates in an inspiring speech to attendees.

“We are not just family doctors; we are healers, advocates, and partners in health, well-being, and in sickness when disease persists. We are part of communities, professional organizations, and the national voice of healthcare,” said Kiraly.

Residency Program Director Kirsten Stoesser, MD, closed the evening out with a message about finding joy in both clinical practice and life.

“Deliberately make choices that will be a source of joy. It will bring great benefits to you, your career, your friends and family, and your patients,” said Stoesser.
