Jennifer Mundt Selected as Caregiving Fellow
Jennifer Mundt, PhD, a sleep psychologist and associate professor (clinical) in the Division of Public Health, has been selected by the University of Utah’s College of Nursing Family Caregiving Collaborative (FCC) to become a Caregiving Fellow.
The FCC partnered with the Vice President's Clinical and Translational (VPCAT) Research Scholars Program to select scholars who are advancing the fields of caregiving and family health science for a one-year term. Fellows receive developmental funds, engage with interdisciplinary scholar groups, and attend a speaker series featuring national caregiving researchers.
“I am thrilled about this opportunity to develop my research on family caregiving. My clinical care and research have largely focused on helping individuals with their sleep, but in the last couple of years, I have become increasingly interested in how family members are involved in helping to manage sleep disorders,” said Mundt. “This fellowship will help me to learn from and collaborate with amazing caregiving scholars at the University of Utah. This support will be vital as I delve further into a new area of research.”
