Utah Center for Promotion of Work Equity Research

Together, we can ensure that the conditions of work promote the health and well-being of workers and communities.

The Utah Center for Promotion of Work Equity Research (U-POWER) is one of 10 Centers of Excellence for Total Worker Health® supported by the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). U-POWER envisions work and workplaces that are safe, healthy, and equitable. The mission of U-POWER is to create a sustainable community of practice that changes the conditions of work and advances Total Worker Health (TWH) through research and outreach.

U-POWER is dedicated to community engagement, including outreach, services, and community-involved research. To learn more about TWH, issues of power at work, and U-POWER events and activities, follow us on social media at any of the channels below.
