U-POWER is committed to supporting community-based organizations (CBOs) both in their efforts to reach groups and to support the well-being of their employees at work. In addition to all services offered to employers generally, U-POWER also offers technical support to any CBO wishing to develop work-related elements of their services (e.g. improving working conditions for community members, better understanding work-related issues of community members, etc.), which includes but is not limited to the hiring of a community health worker to assist with work-related projects or the provision of mini grants.
