Mackenzie Tveit

Managing Director

Hi I’m Mack! Growing up, I went to West High School so having the chance to work with and advocate for the refugees and asylum seekers in SLC is extra special for me. I love that we get to make a tangible difference in the outcome of these cases!

Rose Domonoske

Managing Director

I grew up in Park City, Utah whose workforce relies heavily on migrant workers and often unfair labor practices. I was able to serve this community while working at People’s health clinic in my first year of medical school and am now excited and honored to be involved with the Asylum clinic.

Bryanda Woods

Managing Director

Hi, I’m Bryanda! I was born in Mexico but my parents moved to Utah when I was 2 years old, Spanish was my first language. I love being able to help people like my parents who are seeking a better and safer life for themselves.

George Smith

Clinic Coordinator

I have been involved with refugee and migrant health programs in Utah over the past 5 years in a variety of ways, including work as a medical interpreter, coordinating and volunteering at free and outreach clinics across the valley, and involvement with the refugee-advocacy organization Their Story is Our Story. I’m passionate about helping patients overcome barriers such as language access, affordability of health services, and legal barriers to health.

Rogelio (Roy) Brambila

Clinic Coordinator

Supporting refugee and asylum seeker communities has long been one of my strongest motivations for pursuing a career in medicine. Before starting medical school, I worked as a case manager and interpreter for asylum seekers, which gave me better insight into the trauma these communities endure and the systemic barriers they face in accessing care and resources. I continue to be inspired by their resilience, and I’m grateful to be a part of this project.
