GME Trainee Clinic
The GME Trainee Clinic is located at Madsen Health Center within Family Practice. It is designed to assist GME trainees with routine medical concerns when their Primary Care Provider (PCP) is unavailable or difficult to access.
The clinic offers care for acute illnesses, prescription refills, and routine health maintenance. It is not intended for non-urgent visits such as preventative exams or long-term primary care.

- Kiersten Swindle, PA: Second Thursday of each month from 5-7 PM
- Joshua Roesener, MD: Third Wednesday of each month from 5-7 PM
How to Schedule
- Schedule via Email:
- The GME Trainee ‘Patient’ will contact the Outbound Team by sending a direct email to cc-outbound@hsc.utah.edu to schedule visits. The email should include all necessary details to minimize back-and-forth communication.
- The Outbound Team will schedule the visit and reply to the email with confirmation details.
- Email Scheduling Form:
- Full Name / DOB
- Reason for Visit (“What are you needing to be scheduled for?”)
- Preference for in-office or virtual visit
- Specific day/time preference (if applicable)
- Schedule via Phone:
- The GME Trainee ‘Patient’ will call 801-213-4481 to schedule an appointment. This number is dedicated to scheduling for GME trainees only. Appointments cannot be scheduled through MyChart or regular clinic phone numbers.
