Ms. Huynh is the program manager for VERITAS within the VA Informatics, Decision-Enhancement and Analytic Sciences (IDEAS) COIN Center at the Salt Lake Veteran Affairs (VA) Medical Center. She received her Master of Public Health and Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Utah. She is responsible for general team management and operations. In particular, she oversees research and data approvals, including fulfilling regulatory requirements for IRB, VA Research and Development (R&D), and VA national data systems applications. She manages team finances, grants/contracts, and human resources. She also assists with convening meetings, preparing manuscripts, overseeing timely completion of study and team goals, and other activities necessary to support the team. She enjoys cooking, arts and crafts, exploring new places, and attending Utah Jazz games.
Ms. Tilley is the program administrator of VERITAS Oncology. It is her personal goal to ensure a positive work environment and meet the needs of our team. She comes from active duty military where she served as a command, control, communication, and computers intelligence officer. Since her departure , she has focused on her medical background where she began as a CNA 20 years ago working for a skilled nursing facility. Adding onto those skills, she became an MSA and continued working for the DOD for 7 years. She has built clinics in Fort Hood and Fort Bliss Army Medical Centers. These clinics include the Medical Management Division and the Warriors in Transition Unit, which are now implemented amongst all Army bases. This experience gave her the motivation to complete her Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration and Information Technology. Ms. Tilley then received her Master’s in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, in order to be a better manager and lead effective teams. She has been with the VA since 2014 and has a great understanding of the system. She assists the team with travel, scheduling, policies and procedures, safety, purchasing, onboarding, and organization. She fulfills regulatory requirements for current research projects. She is also assisting with algorithm building for the DLBCL project. In her off time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, cooking, and spending time with her family.
