About Me
Denis was born and raised in Kazakhstan near the beautiful Altai mountains. In pursuit of the best medical education possible, he moved to Saint Petersburg and finished with distinction in the medical school at the oldest university in Russia - Saint Petersburg State University. Driven by the desire to see the world and learn different approaches in medicine he then completed his internal medicine residency at a busy Chicago hospital. While studying medicine Denis fell in love with both his future wife and Rheumatology.
Denis and his wife Anna love to spend time outdoors. So far they have visited 12 National parks with plans to visit all 63 in the near future.
