  • About Me

I am originally from Toledo, Ohio, and moved to Utah for residency - my first time living outside the Midwest. I did glioblastoma research before attending medical school, and spent much of my residency at the U doing work with solid tumor, mainly GI and Lung. I believe the opportunity to practice medicine and care for patients with malignancies is one of the greatest honors!

    Medical Areas of Interest

Cellular/CAR T therapy, GVHD, pancreatic and colorectal cancer

    Interests & Hobbies

My wife and I love being in the mountains during all 4 seasons, including hiking with our mini-Schnauzer Stella, and skiing as much as possible. I enjoy taking in all of the natural beauty Utah and our national parks have to offer, in addition to experiencing the restaurants/bars and concert scene in SLC.

    Why Utah?

Utah ticked all the boxes for me personally and professionally. I wanted to do residency at a program affiliated with a CCC, and the Huntsman Cancer Institute is a superb hospital. I believe in the mission of that institution, which is why I stayed to continue contributing to the research and innovation that was occurring around me. Salt Lake City is the perfect size, and the quality of life is unmatched!
