Why did you decide on Utah? The university of Utah is a great learning institution with an excellent faculty and a great group of fellows. The people in the program make this a great place to be and work. Additionally, Utah has excellent activities including mountains (both aesthetically pleasing and offer hiking, biking, fishing and excellent snow sports [there are like 6+ ski places with 1.5 hours]).
