  • About Me

I grew up moving all over the world, spending time in the DC and Bay areas, Europe, Africa and Central America. After studying biology at Santa Clara University and then doing research in molecular genomics, I eventually found my way into medicine. After residency, I spent a year at the VA as a chief resident in quality and patient safety, something I hope to incorporate into my future career.

    Interests & Hobbies

I spend my free time biking, running [short, slow distances], swimming, exploring Utah, gardening, baking, crafting elaborate family Halloween costumes, playing with toy trash cans and reading many picture books and a few chapter books.

    Why Utah?

Utah has the perfect blend of approachable, down-to-earth mentors and colleagues, a competitive academic environment with a wide catchment, and boundless outdoor adventures.
