About Me
Luke was born and raised in Plover, Wisconsin. He completed his undergraduate degree in Microbiology at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He then joined the medical scholar's program through the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and completed his MD and PhD degrees in 2020. His research focused on Salmonella pathogenesis during intracellular infection of macrophages. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Utah. He is interested in clinical microbiology and the development of new testing to diagnose infectious diseases. Dr. Fenlon graduated from the infectious disease fellowship program in June 2025 and is undertaking a Medical Microbiology fellowship at ARUP laboratories in Salt Lake City.
