About Me
Dr. Sarah Hanson was born and raised in Central Minnesota. After undergraduate at College of St Benedict/St John’s University, she moved to Oregon for Medical School at Western University of Health Sciences. She completed internal medicine residency at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio where she was chief resident. After practicing as a hospitalist in Cincinnati for two years, Dr. Hanson returned to training at the University of Utah. She enjoys the complexity, variety, and challenge that the subspecialty of infectious diseases provides. After graduating from the fellowship program in June 2024, Dr. Hanson accepted a position as an Infectious Disease doctor at Allina community hospital, Coon Rapids Minnesota.
