About Me
Dr. Sarah Hanson was born and raised in Central Minnesota. After undergraduate at College of St Benedict/St John’s University, she moved to Oregon for Medical School at Western University of Health Sciences. She completed internal medicine residency at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio where she was chief resident. After practicing as a hospitalist in Cincinnati for two years, Dr Hanson is excited to return to training at University of Utah. She enjoys the complexity, variety, and challenge that the subspecialty of infectious diseases provides. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, knitting, a variety of outdoor activities, and spending time with her bulldog.
