    I grew up in Hyderabad, India and also spent time in Cary, North Carolina before moving to Connecticut for my residency where I began to appreciate and enjoy all four seasons for the very first time. My brother was the first in my family to move out west and I am glad to finally be back in the same time zone as him. I enjoy game nights, Hyderabadi Biryani, early 2000’s pop culture and impromptu travel. Moving to Salt Lake City, I am most excited for my very first ski lessons.

    Interests & Hobbies

    There are few things I enjoy more in my time off than watching and dissecting film, and having previously followed the annual Sundance from afar I am pumped to be right next to Park City come January.

    Why Utah?

    Growing up in the dense urban bustle of Hyderabad, the contrast afforded by the Utah outdoors was a big pull and it indeed was love at first sight as I laid eyes on the Great Salt Lake at sunset through the window seat, during my plane’s descent. I was already aware of the reputation Huntsman Cancer Institute had for its excellent clinical training along with its deep well of research opportunity, but I was most impressed by its careful curation of invested faculty and affable fellows during my interaction with them at the interview.
