    Why Utah?

I was lucky enough to rotate with the nephrology consult service at the U as a medical student on an away rotation. I was blown away by the faculty and fellows’ intelligence, compassion and interest in teaching. As a resident here at the U, I continued to have great interactions with the renal attendings and fellows—they all seemed happy and in love with their careers! I knew I wanted to stay and train with this extraordinary group of people. In my opinion, the University of Utah is unmatched in its variety of high-caliber training locations, large catchment area with diverse pathology, positive learning environment, research opportunities, and proximity to nature. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to continue my training here!
