I was born in Kerala, India but have lived in different parts of the country because of my parents’ job. I moved to Kerala for my medical school and then made the trip across the globe to Connecticut for my internal medicine training. I was lucky to have met my wife during my USMLE journey and to train with her at the University of Connecticut! I have a brother who is currently doing his PhD in aeronautical engineering at Purdue University, Indiana. I am so very excited to move to Salt Lake City for this next amazing chapter!

My wife and I love the outdoors and could not be in a more perfect place to explore that! I was the vocalist of our college band ‘The Lucid Interval’.
Why Utah?
The Huntsman is an amazing place to work and train! We get to learn from the leaders in hematology/oncology, and the wide spectrum of clinical cases makes it an ideal training environment. The faculty is very invested in teaching, and the research opportunities are amazing! It’s a very welcoming place, and my co-fellows and faculty are some of the nicest people I have ever worked with. Salt Lake City is beautiful, the people are extremely warm-hearted, kind, and I can assure you that the mountains will take your breath away when you land here!
